We are very excited to welcome you back to Telluride. Although things will not be the same as in years past, there are still many wonderful memories to be made this summer. We’re here to answer your questions and help in anyway we can. Let’s get started …

Hotels and professionally managed short term rentals are opening in a phased approach, at 25% capacity starting on June 1, potentially increasing to 50% on June 22.

Because of the lower availability, rentals will most likely be more challenging to find. Please let us know if we can use our connections to help you in your search.

Retail & Personal Service Businesses areopen and waiting for you. There are limited occupancy requirements and masks are required. Restaurants are excited to welcome you and your family/friends back to social dining. They will be operating at 50% of the posted occupancy code limit, not to exceed 50 people, whichever is less. Bars are not open at this time, with a reevaluation scheduled in June.
This summer, retail businesses and restaurants will be taking over part of Main Street for dining and shopping. Read more HERE.

With a lifetime’s worth of adventures to be had – Telluride’s recreation scene will be at the heart of this summer’s happenings. Leisurely stroll down the river trail with your morning latte or get your heart pumping with a brisk hike up a mountain peak (check out the new Bridal Veil Creek Trail), jump on a SUP board or into an inner tube and explore the local rivers and lakes, hop on a bike and tour the amazing landscape of trails for every level of expertise … the possibilities are endless. Please reach out to us if you would like any recommendations on things to do.

A few other happenings to note are …

Telluride Academy
They are pushing forward and adapting their programming to allow kids to still experience amazing outdoor adventures this summer. Programming to start June 15, availability will be limited for safety reasons, so register your kids as soon as possible HERE.

Telluride Film Festival
Things will look and feel different, but the show will go on. The festival will commence on September 3, instead of the 4th this year.

Telluride Blues & Brews
The fate of this late summer favorite is still TBD.

Keep up-to-date on the status of events HERE. HOW ARE PEOPLE GETTING TO TELLURIDE?

We’ve heard that a lot of people are bringing back the “Great American Road Trip” this summer. Without a doubt, there is some beautiful country to be seen on the way to Telluride.

Obviously, that’s not an option for everyone, and there will be flights arriving/departing from Montrose and Telluride. See the detailed air schedule HERE.

If you will be in Telluride this summer, our Telluride and Mountain Village office locations are open – please stop in and say hello. We are ready to find the perfect Telluride area home for you and have procedures in place to keep you safe during that process.

If you can’t be here this summer, we are just a phone/facetime/zoom call away from achieving that same goal.

With the exception of open houses, the buying/selling process in Telluride is now more inline with life before COVID-19.
